In the Contact Center College of CSAA, we are performing a massive redesign initiative for all of our new hire training as we move from 95% ILT to a performance-based blended learning approach to an approach that will be 65% elearning, 25% live work and assessments and 10% performance management and coaching in the training lab.

We are seeking skilled instructional design students to help us with this task. We have immediate openings for students with expertise and/or experience producing work in Dreamweaver and/or Captivate.

Interns will be hired for between 15-40 hours per week and paid based on their skill and experience.

Job Post: Captivate software tutorials

From Karen Quigg:

The tutorials will be for 3D medical imaging software, and there are 30 planned.

Most of the preliminary ID work has been done, but we will need an ID to make adjustments to the overall plan based on the current version of the imaging software and client requests.

This position will begin as soon as a qualified candidate has been found, and we anticipate that the project will last for the next 3 months.

A minimum of 20 hours a week is required, and at least part of that time will need to be in our downtown SF office.

Pay commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will also have experience producing print-based instruction, as the next phase of this project will be print-based and we'd prefer to work with the same person in an ongoing manner. It is also extremely important that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Please send a resume, a link to work samples, writing samples (a paper from a class project is just fine), and a general schedule of your availability through November

    Job Post: Elementary Technology Teacher

    From Alumni 2006, Anne Branch:

One of the elementary schools in the district where I work has an opening
for a Technology Teacher. Responsibilities include planning and presenting
lessons to 1st through 5th grade students as well as collaborating with
classroom teachers to plan computer lab projects and to integrate technology in their own teaching. There is a Mac (OS X) lab and Macs in all classrooms; the tech teacher is responsible for supporting all computers (including a few PCs) on campus.

It's an 80% (usually 4 days a week) position on the certificated salary schedule.

There are four elementary schools in the Orinda Union School District.
I'm the tech teacher at one of the other schools; the tech teachers are a pretty

It's reverse commute, though, and several of the teachers at my school live in
    SF.

The position requires a teaching credential; there is a bonus for a
masters degree. If you've taken ITEC 815 and/or 816, this is your chance to put
    them to use!
